From the trailhead at parking lot 5, take the singletrack. The Green Loop starts with a gentle climb that soon levels out. The first part of the loop starts in the forest with a few manageable rocky sections. Continue through the twists and turns and you'll come to a fork in the road. The left fork takes you on the Blue Loop (intermediate loop) and the right fork continues the Green Loop. The trail continues through the forest until you reach the meadow.

Once in the meadow section, you'll be able to increase your speed, if you so choose. Most of this section of the trail is smooth singletrack, which is perfect for kids learning to mountain bike. Continue along the trail until you get to another fork. The left fork takes you back to the parking lot and the right fork takes you back to the loop for some more fun.

Some notes about the trail: The trail is for bikes only, but does cross walking and equestrian paths, so use proper trail etiquette. If you come across a horse, stop and speak in a calm voice so as not to startle the horse.
