Description

Riechl's Retreat connects Jody's Loop to Switchback, Olympian's Link and Crown Point Road. The trail traverses the northern end of the west ridgeline above Crown Point Road.

The trail, like many in the Peninsula area, is as much doubletrack as it is singletrack. Clear-cutting of the area has resulted in increased erosion on some of the trails, and Riechl's Retreat can be a bit loose.

This trail is unclimbable North to South in some sections. Lots of lose rock, gravel and sand keeps me from having the traction needed to climb. YMMV. 0.4mi — 15h 00m
