This trail utilizes cross country ski trails on Trail E - Carson, Trail D -Carson Cut Across and Trail J - Reuter Springs. The ride can be ridden in either direction.

The cut across descent is a seat dropping descent.

Leave the parking lot at Reuter and go west into Trail E - Carson Draw system. This utilizes two track and FS road. It then will cross a gate for non motorized use, then you'll go down a short downhill before turning left on Carson Draw Trail.

This trail will take you down a rutted singletrack, around a corner and down through a meadow, and through private property. STAY ON THE TRAIL.

It will then at the bottom of the hill go right and up a long gradual climb eventually leaving the private section and heading upwards to the Trail D-Carson Cut Across trail. At the Junction for Carson Cut-Across it will be a grinding uphill until the highway crossing. If you went right it will take you back to the gate.

You'll come out on Warren Peak Highway then continue to hit the Trail E - Carson Cut-Across singletrack and then you'll ascend up a short climb. Travel down a two track road for about 50-75 yards, and then enter the Carson cut across descent. It is very steep and very long.

Finish your descent and then you'll come out at the Trail junction for Trail J - Reuter Springs. Go right and head down the hill to Reuter campground/parking lot.
