From the parking lot, take the trail between the port-a-john and the information boards. After a short bit you'll come to a junction. Take the trail to the right that is marked as a mountain bike trail, not the Newman Trail. This trail can also be accessed by taking the right trail out of the parking lot and then a left at the first "T" intersection and riding it in reverse. This trail is marked with Blue blazes.
This loop is very similar to the Hopewell Trail Loop but has just a bit more climbing and a little bit tighter turns and trees. This trail follows the edge of a ride line that juts into the lake. This allows the lake to be seen almost the entire time although it can be a bit obscured by the trees. The riding is very consistent and does not have any surprises to be worried about.
