Description

From the parking lot that sits above the dam, take Slide Hill Loop and stay left, you'll then continue on a short section of Tin Can Trail. Take Tin Can just a few hundred feet and you'll be at the beginning of the Sunset Point Trail.

The trail stays on top of the ridge and goes out to the point, where there is a bench and good view of the reservoir. The trail starts out with some easier technical rock features and slowly progresses as you move further out with some short technical rock moves and a couple quick ups and downs.

Near the end of this trail there is an intersection with 2015 Trail (really fun descent back towards the dam, or a bit of a climb that will take you up onto Narrows Bluff Trail)
