Description

Street parking is available about 3/4 mile from the trailhead on Finley Road.

The trail starts as a dirt road through forest that parallels Tassajara Creek. It then opens up into beautiful grass covered hills near the entrance to Oyster Point Trail.

After this point it is a fire road with no shade. The road climbs steadily by Riggs Canyon Road until it reaches Highland Ridge and then it descends back to Morgan Territory Road. Views of Riggs Canyon and the eastern side of Mt Diablo State Park abound.
