Description

This trail offers a wonderful deep, cool forest ride with a pleasant surprise. Keeping with its name, the trail leads you to a small mountain lake hidden away. It's a very quiet, peaceful trail predominately consisting of hard packed dirt base. The trail can get a little slick in the rain in some areas because of some areas of mixed in clay.

The main trailhead is located at the end of Forest Road 532. At approximately 0.30 miles, you'll come across a trail junction. Stay Left at the trail junction and continue to the next trail junction at approximately the 0.6 mile mark. At this point the trail makes a loop. You can take a right or a left. The loop will lead you down to Lost Lake to take in some quiet scenery.

As you ride this loop you'll find a small junction trail that leads out to Forest Road 532.
This is a small but very fast, smooth rolling trail and provides a great ride when linking it to the other trails and roads in the area.

After you are done riding, head into the town of Sandpoint for some awesome local cuisine, beer and coffee.
