Description

From the Winsor Trail, cross the creek on a bridge, continue more up stream, and start to climb. A long grinding climb through a few switchbacks without much besides the gradient to slow you down, gets you through the majority of the climb.

After the switchbacks, you have some roots that need to be negotiated to get to the high point, though most can be avoided. Once at the high point, a fast descent leads to a valley where there is a junction on your right with the Bear Wallow Trail 182. From this point, a more gradual climb heads up to Hwy 475 and an escape or access option.
