Description

A tough climb either way you go on this trail. Though nice and forested on the Winsor Trail side, the Hwy 475 side is much more open as you leave/approach the road. This trail follows a valley from either side up to a saddle and as such has stair step nature to it providing opportunities for one to catch their breath though some of the steeper sections will have your saddle wedged in uncomfortable places. At the saddle, there is a junction with Saddleback Trail #232.

Could use some more signage in places where there seem to be multiple paths.
