Description
Lulu Brook Trail is normally ridden as a downhill, but with some effort can be ridden in both directions. It is a straight plummet next to the brook itself running for the most part on a ridge along the brook. The trail is wonderfully bench cut but has plenty of exposure for its entire length from 50 - 150 feet or so - so don't lose your concentration!
There are a few sections of steep declines, but the trail is mostly about both speed and bike control in order to clean it and not go sliding into the brook.
Access is either from riding up the berry pond circuit road until you see a new bridge on the right (trail is to the right immediately after crossing the bridge) or from following the new
Tappan Zee Trail from the top of
PSF Honolulu Trail and riding a few hundred yards up the doubletrack from its end. It follows the brook - you can't miss it!
