Description

At the beginning of the singletrack, the trail begins to climb steeply along the hillside with nice views of the canyon. It continues along at a more gradual grade shortly after that. The trail is rocky at times and even crosses a few scree fields with a few sections of loamy smooth trail.

At about 6.8 miles in, you'll come to South Pinkham Trail. This is where the trail takes a departure from following along the North Fork of Asotin Creek and climbs all the way up to the rim. Be sure to keep an eye out for Big Horn Sheep as they frequent the canyon.
