Description
The Tsali Right Loop is very similar to the Left Loop - expect some sections of rocks and a few challenging climbs. There are plenty of fast, flowy sections to break up the pedaling. Overall, there is less shoreline riding and more steeper side slope sections than the
Tsali Left Loop.
The trail starts with a slight downhill to the east and drops onto one of the many Lake Fontana peninsulas. The descent quickly transitions to a climb, gradual at first and then steep for the duration. Enjoy a slight respite before the second big climb starts after Brattles Branch Creek.
After topping out, it is an easier pedal towards an overlook. Stay right at the forks in the trail to get to the Windy Point Overlook and enjoy more great views. The overlook loop is only about a mile. On the way back, stay right to continue on Tsali Right Loop and then right again at the intersection with
Right Loop Connector 2.
From here, contour on inland trail to the end of Tsali Right Loop to an intersection with
Tsali Left Loop and
County Line Road.
Continue onward to complete the
Tsali Left and Right Loops - IMBA Epic for a long route, or
County Line Road for a shorter ride.
