Description

Yellow Birch trail is a favorite for its varying degrees of challenge and beauty on loamy soil. Not much elevation change but it does have a few short and challenging uphill sections. About halfway, Yellow Birch crosses the Davis Trail, which provides a great access point to the trails of Canaan mountain. At the terminus of Yellow Birch is the main lodge of the Blackwater Falls State Park, which has a cafeteria and other amenities. Be sure to checkout the overlook of the Blackwater canyon behind the lodge for a stunning view.

Will Bill, Beautiful beginning. Green moss trail and plenty of technical riding. 1/2 of the trail it's muddy and difficult to ride. — 12h 00m
