Description

Shady Canyon bikeway is a bike and pedestrian path that snakes next to the luxurious Shady Canyon neighborhood. It's completely paved and well-maintained. There's usually a fair amount of pedestrians on the path who are out for a walk. If you start from Quail Trail, there's a short climb up Shady Canyon. Once at the top, the trail goes down into the canyon with two wooden bridges and a virtually unnoticeable tiny climb before hitting Bommer Canyon Trailhead. Park at the trailhead at Quail Hill or Bommer Canyon. The trail can't be accessed midway unless you live in Shady Canyon.
