Description

Ignore the many social trails along White Trail, as you draw closer to the water. In a few minutes, the dirt-packed trail turns left through a gap in an old stonewall, permitting an awesome view of Bennetts Pond as the trail continues to ascend. Continue along White, which passes over a bridge and then swings to the right.

The White Trail eventually pulls away from whats left of Bennetts Pond, for a short time paralleling a stream. Follow the white blazes to the left at the next intersection, where a bridge lies to the right. A rapid ascent ensues eventually bringing you to a T intersection with Red Trail.
