Fee of $2 per rider. Pay at the self-service station before you get to parking.
Trailhead is difficult to locate. Park in front of a bathroom that will be on your left after the pay station. The trailhead is to the left of the bathroom, to the left of a picnic pavilion, downhill towards a lake.
The trailhead is marked by a sign with a couple of benches next to it (see photo). Several trails depart from here. See the photo for help locating the Dutch & Faye Tiemann mountain bike trail. Follow the blue markers, Many markers are no longer blue due to fire.
Description
This fast singletrack rolls through typical Florida pine woods. It's a bit wider and less twisty than
Crooked Creek Bike Trail, but more scenic. This trail rides well in either direction. There are some swampy areas, older pines, and huge pinecones.
There is a very pretty picnic area along a river just off the trail. At about 3.6 miles going CCW, the trail turns left and follows a short stretch of dirt road. Turn right on the logging road and go about 100' to the picnic area.
