A few mud bogs but plenty of bridges and scenery to make this meadow trail great.

Description

Swamp Trail is aptly named as it circumnavigates a saturated meadow connected to Beaver Creek. Although sections are mud bogs even in dry weather, this is minor. There are many wide wooden ladder-type bridges and one rock bridge over the worst parts and the rest of the trail is super enjoyable. The trail is mostly soft underneath with lots of turns and not much elevation change. There are some embedded rocks offering an easy challenge. Nice views can be had out through the trees of the meadow.

This trail can be ridden either direction but is often used as a return trail to the trailhead parking area via the Roadside Trail. The start can be accessed from the 3 Mile Loop Rd. where Gene's Trail and Flowkilla Trail end.

Great beginner/intermediate trail. Used it to connect to other rides. There are more mud bogs on the east trail, but the ones on the west side will... 2.7mi
