Description

This fast loop through the pine grove is an interesting feature of Bavington. It almost resembles a cyclocross course in layout. Most of the loop is defined with carefully placed fallen logs to delineate a course through the trees. It's a great place to do a few laps on the cross bike or mountain bike since the trail loops right back to its beginning. Though not completely flat, there is very little elevation change, and the trail is very resistant to mud in the wet weather.

There are a couple of turns you need to watch out for that can take you off the course and back on to the Old Airport Trail. Basically, if you just keep making left turns, you should stay on the course without much effort.
