Climb an easy hill north to south, and wind around in some trees. Before long you'll come to an intersection in the trees. If you turn left you can take a quick ride around the High Life trail and connect back to Top Shelf within 5 feet of where you leave it. You'll take a couple short steep downhills and come out to an open area that is two track. Turn left and continue on the two track.

This area shares trail with the Northbound trail. Once you get closer to the trees the trail splits again. Keep on the track that veers right at the intersection, this is an easy, flat ride alongside electrical poles. After just over a quarter mile you'll have the option to turn left and ride the Lake Loop trail, or go straight, and follow the trail as it turns right and heads west towards the Beaver Avenue bridge. You'll ride under the bridge (this small section is two-way singletrack) and follow the trail split to the right up a small incline. The trail will then end at the paved Trestle to Trestle trail.
