Description

This trail is definitely a challenging one. It starts at the road leading to the top of the Monogram Road and goes down a massive hill through a series of steep and somewhat off-camber switchbacks. Doing these in either direction is difficult.

Once you make it to the bottom of this section, it mellows out and flows along the creek until it meets up with Oaks Way. Take a left here and head across the bridge and up the wider, almost doubletrack looking section. This is a rocky and fairly technical climb. At the top, the trail goes left, just downhill from The Playground Trail. This leads to a straight up climb to Valley View Rd.

At the road, cross over onto Playground Trail and head left behind one of the berms. This section goes downhill and then follows part of Idiot's Run before splitting off to the left and heading down another switchback-filled downhill. At the bottom of the hill, the trail goes left and Split Decision goes right. Follow the trail to the left all the way back to Five Points. Technically the "loop" would be to take Monogram Road back to the top.
