This unique point-to-point mountain bike race combines single and doubletrack trails across the four ski areas of Aspen Snowmass (Snowmass, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands and Aspen Mountain) into one amazing course. The diversity of the terrain and tackling our four distinct mountains has placed this race in a category all its own. The race has become a local classic with storied finishes every year.

In addition to the Power of Four, participants will have the option of racing a shorter course (20-miles) that covers the first two mountains of the full route, Snowmass and Buttermilk, including the famed Government Trail.

Segment 1: Snowmass

1. Start in Base Village (at the base of the Village Express lift in Snowmass)
2. Ride up Fanny Hill road
Turn right off of the road onto Discovery Trail just above the concert lawn
3. Ride up Discovery Trail to the Teepee, then cross the road and join Village Bound Trail
5. Turn right onto Village Bound trail
7. Follow Village Bound trail uphill until it ends on Sam's Knob work road
8. Turn right on the work road and follow uphill through the tunnel, then stay left towards the Ullrhoff Restaurant
9. Turn left onto Cross Mountain trail before Ullrhof Restaurant
10. Stay on Cross Mountain trail to right hand turn on Expresso Trail
11. Follow Expresso Trail to Elk Camp Summer Road
12. Turn right on Elk Camp Summer Road and follow up to Vapor Trail
13. Descend Vapor Trail to Elk Camp Restaurant
14. Slight uphill around Elk Camp Restaurant to join Viking Trail
15. After Viking joins Verde, stay right to remain on Verde across Elk Camp work road
17. Cross Elk Camp work road to Government Trail gate
18. Cross Valhalla Trail to remain on Government Trail
20. Government Trail to Buttermilk

Segment 2: Buttermilk

1. Government Trail to base of Tiehack
2. **Finish line for Power of Two

Segment 3: Aspen Highlands

1. Tiehack parking lot to base of Highlands via the ARC bridge and up the bike path to the base of Aspen Highlands
2. Aspen Highlands Summer Road up to the Congo Trail (Congo Trail starts at the base of I70 ski run)
3. Congo Trail down to Castle Creek Road

Segment 4: Aspen Mountain

1. Castle Creek Road to Midnight Mine Road
2. Midnight Mine Road to Sundeck
3. East Rim Trail
4. East Rim Trail to Scottys Trail
5. Finish line in front of Ajax Tavern at the base of Aspen Mountain
