Description

Access from Warner Lake Campground is by Forest Trail #033 (Warner Lake/Beaver Basin) for 0.23 miles before reaching the intersection and the start of this trail. This trail then continues downhill through aspen stands to Forest Road #076 (Oowah Lake) and Oowah Lake Campground.

Most visitors prefer to travel from Oowah Lake Campground to Warner Lake (uphill). Erosion has been very present in recent years making this trail difficult in both directions. Primarily it sees hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrian users. Please respect one another and observe standard trail etiquette: mountain bikers yield to both hikers and equestrian users and hikers yield to equestrian users.
