Menny Thanks is primarily ridden as a descent off of the SW Ridge. The trail can be ridden as a climb, however, most riders will prefer to climb Ikes Peek or Good Call to get to the top. Although used as a downhill route it does include some short climbs. This trail gets a little rowdy in spots and is not recommended for beginners. There are sections of trail that have significant exposure on rocky and off cambered faces.

There are plenty of obstacles and drops that will eat up your suspension and riding this trail fast and sloppy will often result in a flat tire. Even with all of the chunky sections the trail has great flow to it. The last descent of this trail is a smile getter. Five small drops are linked in a succession that almost feels like a small pillow line on skis. This trail is the original must-do at the SW Ridge.
