This is a multi-use trail. Please yield to walkers, runners, and occasionally horses. This trail is closed when the shooting range was open. If you hear gunfire while riding AVOID this trail.

Description

This trail is is a little rockier than some of the other trails in the corner of the network but is still mostly smooth. The Town of Barnstable used to operate a shooting range adjacent to this trail, but it has been closed since 2013 due to insurance issues. There is signage stating the trail is closed due to proximity to the shooting range officially, however, it is also understood that with the range closed, there is no current danger to riders.
