Description

The covered bridge trail can be used as a connector to Archers Fork Loop Trail via the Shay Ridge Trail and it can also be used in other ride variations when linking up secondary roads on the area. One such road is at the Haught Run trailhead. The lower part of the trail at this end follows a jeep trail down the creek bed for a few hundred yards before intersecting an oil well service road near the Little Muskingum River.

This unnamed oil well service road heads left from the trailhead and climbs back up to the ridgetop connecting with Scottown Rd (Twp 35). A left turn on Scottown Rd will quickly bring you back up to the Covered Bridge Trail's intersection with the road allowing for a "lollipop" ride on this portion of the trail.
