Family Friendly There is a family friendly 1.2-mile walking loop that is great for kids to ride their bikes.

Overview

This ride covers one of the best trail networks that Tyler has to offer: Almost all of the trail is shaded by pine trees. The system is well-maintained with bridges. Overall, a very family-friendly park.

Need to Know

It helps to ride the walking loop first to get your bearings. The trail crosses the walking path several times and it's good to know where you are when you cross the path so you can easily hit a section twice or bail early if you get tired.

Description

The ride begins and ends at the trailhead so you can do multiple laps for a longer ride. There are a few altitude adjustments but it's short in distance. This is a fast-paced route but caution is needed because of the many turns and twists.

This ride heads in a clockwise direction starting with Hoot and Holler (Loop A), before continuing onto Blackberry Patch (Loop B) and Sleeping Giants (Loop C).
