The trail is multi-use and open to two-way traffic. Keep an eye out for other users, especially in the trees where sight-lines are limited.
Description
I recommend this trail if you are bringing a beginner along. It is challenging without being overwhelming. It is 100% singletrack with only 1 technical section. It is a system of loop options and the forks are well marked. You can loop back at several points to shorten the ride or create a ride of .5/4/6/9.5 or 13+ miles.
In the height of spring/summer, ticks can be an issue. Also, the trail gets narrow under the trees, so Poison Ivy has been a problem in wet years.
Excellent conditions being 2 days after a good rain, could really go fast with confidence of front tire traction with no sand or washout likely.

FIRST RIDE EVER
Solid trail, I learned that you shouldn't run into trees…. Still learning to ride over some stuff, had to take the bike path home.
