A long descent, for IL, with a drop of ~100' from the upper South System Loop. The first section is pretty mellow with a small dirt berm shooting you into a blind right-hand corner. Another 50' down the trail, if the undergrowth isn't in the way, you'll have a great view of the approaching features and trail winding through the ravine below.

Midway through the trail is a series of three wooden berms featuring steam bent deck planks. Riding the berms isn't mandatory. Two features have a flat inner deck and one has an inner dirt trail as a bypass. A word of caution: don't ride high on the berms if you don't have the speed. The front tire will wash out and you may go over the top. This is quite a drop on the first feature. Lean into the berms and they will take you where you need to go.

After the berms is a short boardwalk which spits you out into a fast and winding downhill section with a few small rollers and in-sloped turns. The trail ends along the base of the large grass hill heading back towards the trailhead parking lot.
