Description

This trail is pretty easy, but fun. There is one small rock garden that needs some work as the flooding river created some big holes in it.

The River Trail starts on the back side of the pond in Barboursville Park and runs along the river to the sanitary lift station/railroad crossing on Peyton Street. There is parking at both ends so it really doesn't matter which way you ride it. Watch out for hikers and horses as this is a heavily traveled trail.

Fun ride, great for beginners with some interesting tech. I did an out and back so it definitely was a good way to start the morning. 7.1mi
