Parking for the White/Blue trails is next to a big white kiln on Forest Road.
If you go left at the first fork (CW for White, CCW for Blue), the White trail is combined with the
Blue Trail for the first quarter mile or so. The trail begins with a rooty descent into the woods (you'll have to climb this to get back up to the parking area).
At the bottom of the descent, the White, Blue, and
Orange Trail are all combined. At Sunset Road, the Orange trail will go to the left, Blue and White go right. From Sunset Road the Blue trail will cut off to the left, the White trail continues on Sunset Road for a little bit. You'll turn left and ride past the Do Not Enter sign (for vehicle traffic) onto a wide doubletrack section which leads up to a hill. The descent on the back of this hill is clean and fast, still on doubletrack.
When the trail turns to the north it becomes singletrack. The singletrack is mostly rooty with some short sandy sections. There are some disused trails and roads that cross the White trail, so keep your eyes open for the trail markers.
Eventually this trail meets up with the
Orange Trail again, when the trails come together you'll make a sharp right turn. Immediately after the turn is a very rooty descent leading to a swampy section with several bridges and a lot of roots. This area will flood after rains and stay wet longer than the rest of the trail. Stick with the Orange markers (White marks are infrequent in this area).
Finally, you'll end up at the bottom of the descent that started the trail. Make the sharp left turn to follow the White/Blue trail uphill. You'll get to the fork that you started at, go right to head to parking; straight will take you on a CW loop of the
Blue Trail (~4 miles).
