Description

This is a fun section of trail for cutting from the bottom of the Roller Coaster trail back up to the Suegra Trail. In my opinion, this trail is really only fun to ride from west to east. You'll start off with a moderately steep climb (note a recent reroute adds a tricky, tight switchback over a rock outcrop) before getting onto the green rock (copper in the rock I would assume).

You traverse the green rock hill slope before dropping down a loose gully of a trail and crossing a sandy wash/arroyo. Then it's a moderately technical climb out and back up to Suegra. Nothing too technical here, but enough to keep you on your toes.
