Description

Although there is still a climb, it's spread out and the trail is wide and easy. Enjoy a shaded "Look out" at the highest point.

The east end of the trail disappears along a stretch of paved road. Either follow the road around to the left and across the creek bed to Horseshoe Loop North, or look for a left, between the trees along the road, and cut across the grassy picnic area and the dry creek bed to Rooster Rock.
