Description

Collinsville is the longest trail in the Marquette North Trail System and a must-do.

It starts just off Forestville Road with a gradual descent on wide-open trail that floats back and forth. The forest eventually closes in as the banked trail becomes more featured with small rollers and berms.

Collinsville winds around to the north into an intersection marked by giant trees stumps. Stay right here for a fast, fun and narrow descent down to the Dead River below the Forestville Dam.

From the bench, the trail rolls up and down some technical rocky sections and then climbs slightly back onto loamy singletrack.

The far end of Collinsville passes the BLP Connector and crosses a bridge to meet an intersection with The Oxbow and The Cedars.
