Down Dogger is a long flow trail in the Marquette South Trail System. It can be ridden as a quick loop from the main parking area or done as a shuttle from the top of Benson Grade. For the most part, the trail is nice loamy soil with the exception of a few rock slabs and outcroppings.

The route starts just over the penstock at the top of Benson Grade with a few rollers over relatively flat terrain. It's not long before Down Dogger gets going with some swoops and berms, dropping off the edge of the hillside and into the tall trees.

The first series of features ends with a quick uphill over a rock outcrop before diving back into more berms and rollers.

The middle of Down Dogger will take you across two bridges and a crossing with the Green Loop before the transition back to roller-coaster style trail that jumps, turns and berms its way to the bottom of the hill.

Stay right to pedal your way back under the road and then bear left to access the main parking area and trailhead.
