Description

These roads connect the Barlow Trail that begins just across the highway from the Summit Ski Area, near the Mazamas Sno-park aka ODOT Maintenance Shed, to the Trillium Bike Trail that links with the Trillium Lake Trail and Trillium Lake. Parts of the road travel through private land, so please respect private property. Parts of the roads have some large pot holes, so be careful of those.

The Barlow Trail drops you in the middle of the Still Creek Campground Loop Road 2650. Turn right (south) and follow the road which eventually turns into E. Perry Vickers Road where it goes through private land and home sites. It passes scenic Summit Meadows and turns into Forest road 131. The road splits (stay to the right) and passes through a large open area that once was an old airstrip. There are likely dispersed campers in this area. The Trillium Lake Bike Trailhead is at the south end of the airstrip. Connect to the Trillium Bike Trail at the trailhead kiosk. Stay on Trillium Bike Trail to access Trillium Lake Loop Trail and Trillium Lake.
