Description

The Black Pine Trail #647 is located on the Fruita Division, south of Glade Park. The southern trailheads access is off Eighteen Mile Road to Enoch's Lake and intersects to other trails on the Fruita Division. The trail maintained for a moderate level of difficulty. From the trailhead to the Black Pine Reservoir has a few easy hills and offers access to fishing and additional trails in a open aspen/coniferous forest.

Continuing past the reservoir the trail narrows in the canyon and begins a moderate switchback climb up the hill. After the switchbacks the trail becomes steeper as it ascends toward the turnaround at the junction with the Ridge Trail #646.
