Dogs Leashed
Family Friendly
The pink loop on the Games Loop is suitable for kids.
No motorized vehicles of any kind allowed on these trails. If you see 4 wheelers or motocross on the trails, please contact the UWF Police at 850.474.2415.
Overview
There are two loops - the "Main Loop" (green/red/blue) and the "Games Loop" (pink, purple, orange). Both trails together will give you 20+ miles.
Need to Know
Trail can be sandy in places after dry spells. There are also some intermittent creeks running through the trails after heavy rains. Expect hikers, runners, and equestrians as they regularly use these trails as well.
Description
To get to the trailhead, go to Pate Road which is off 10-mile Road. Note this is a private road, so be sure not to drive past the parking area, which is unpaved and is located on the righthand side before descending the hill.
These trails have small hills, can be rooty, and have a couple of sandy spots. For the most part, the trail is easy to intermediate but there are a couple of spots which could be considered difficult in the Blue Loop.

History & Background
Some of the elevation of the trails was created by an old log flume in the 1800s. Many of the trails are old dirt roads from the 40's and 50's, especially on the Games side. Many are also old motocross/ATV trails from the 80's and 90's. Once the property was given to UWF in 2000, motorized vehicles were no longer allowed.
