Description

Currently, this trail is cleared on a three-year basis so, at times, the downfall can be bad. This trail was last cleared in 2014. The trail starts off of the Peace Creek Trail and will climb over a small peak to start. There is currently no signage at the beginning of the trail, but you can see the trail as you climb onto a prominent saddle on Peace Creek Trail.

Once atop the saddle, you'll have a steep and rough downhill. There are lots of roots and rocks to dodge and contend with while you hurtle downhill. Just when you thought your brakes were all burned up, the trail will mellow and become twisty and follow the Silver Creek River down. The last part of the trail is fairly flat. The trail ends at the Peace Creek right near the parking lot.

This trail is recommended as a downhill only or an out and back to the steep section.
