From the Vista Point at Skyline Blvd, head north for a very short distance and turn right onto Clouds Rest Road. Ride down the semi-paved road, ignoring the "District and Resident Vehicles only" sign ("Vehicles" does not include bicycles in this case). Enter Coal Creek Open Space through the gate.

Shortly after passing the gate, veer right at the fork onto Meadow Trail (left is Clouds Rest trail--not nearly as fun). Meadow trail has some steep and rutted sections and is a bit more challenging than other trails in the area. It connects to Alpine Road (trail).

It is possible to ride up Meadow Trail as well, as there are only a couple short steep sections.
