Description

Oak Ridge is a short but steep plunge that will have your brakes squealing in protest as you burn through thick forest down into the exposed scrub oak and wildflowers. Chattering over talus and through tight switchbacks blasted into the hillside with dynamite, youll be one of the few if you can make it though without dabbing.

The grade at the bottom of the descent lessen greatly as the trail hits the valley floor as you roll out to the end of the trail.

Yes, you can climb this too. It's steep and in places rocky with switchbacks. All ride-able in principle, but tough climb. Makes for good clockwise loop with Surveyor's Ridge Trail and Dog River descent, then return on 35.
