Part of the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park, so you need a pass if riding when the park is open.

Description

This trail starts and ends in front of Main Lodge, where the gondola soars overhead. The start/finish of the trail is open to two-way traffic, but after a 100 yards, it turns into a one-way trail that makes a clockwise loop. The climb is steep at times, but overall is a nice grade that slithers through pine forests, crosses some ski runs, and eventually loops around Reds Lake. Take a dip if you're in the mood!!

The downhill back to main lodge is a little more direct, but maintains a great flow and will have you grinnin' and pinnin' it. This is a pretty popular trail, and although it's one-way, people often ride it the opposite way (either intentionally or accidentally), so be ready. It was part of the old xc race courses from back in the NORBA days, when the Kamikaze Games were run out of Main Lodge. If you get the chance, this trail is definitely one of the better XC trails in the entire area.
