Dutch Flat trail is the polar opposite of Just Outstanding. Where Just Outstanding was all flow through the trees and nice loamy dirt, Dutch Flat is technical, steep, rocky, loose over hard pack descent down an exposed ridgeline. Many portions of the trail follow the fall line, so they collect water during rains and, as a result, there is some rutting of the trail.

If you like steep, rocky, technical lines this trail is for you. If you hate loose on hard and the typical SoCal kitty litter you'll find this trail draining. I think it is a blast. There are a plethora of rocks to pop off of, drop off of, go around, or plow through.

Beware of at least one large (5 feet?) drop near the end.
