Description

Although not very long, the Dry Pond Trail manages to fit in some steeps as riders climb the switchbacks from the Upper Thomas Creek Trail to the saddle where Dry Pond is nestled on the ridge. If you visit early enough in the year, the shallow depression might contain some moisture.

On the other side, the trail continues toward the Upper Whites Creek Trail along a slightly less steep descent with fewer switchbacks. That said, it's still a good idea to watch your speed on the switchbacks.
