Description

Trail 25A connects from Hop Canyon Road to North Baldy Trail #8. It is typically used as the uphill route to make a loop going down Hop Canyon Trail #25.

Trail 25A is mostly rideable and intermediate in difficulty from a technical perspective. However, the grades and a near 2000-foot ascent will test most riders who will alternate between pushing and riding.

The trail consists of mostly loose rock with a few ledges and uphill features. The switchbacks are steep and overgrown and the tread is faint at times. The view from the intersection with North Baldy Trail #8 is fantastic.
