Much of the west side of the gulch has been a recent park expansion for the City of Mukilteo. The city plans to make significant changes to the area to make it more accessible to multiple user groups. As of 2015, the trails remain in a pre-development phase.
Trails are multi-use and traffic should be expected in both directions. Construction and maintenance require permission from City of Mukilteo. The center of the Gulch holds the BNSF train line; access to the train line is prohibited.
Description
This trail is steep and has sharp switchbacks making it an impractical climb. On the descent, it's likely to involve heavy braking.
A tricky goal post exit between two trees adds to the difficulty of this trail. Most people will enjoy riding the Mukilteo Dog Park Climb instead.
