Description
Cuddins Run Trail has a bit of everything. Wide gently graded trail, fast singletrack, swooping turns, steep hills, large roots and a surprise tight corner can all be found on this trail. This is definitely one of the hardest trails in Preddy. There are some loose rocks on steep descents and corners that are deceptively tight or off camber.
If you're descending this trail, it starts off wide and very easy. Once the trail turns to singletrack, it hits you with some fun sweeping corners just before moving into a sharp right turn around a tree. After this there is a fairly straight but steep downhill with a right turn at the bottom of it. To finish this trail off you go back uphill through a section of large roots that can stop you in your tracks.
To climb this trail isn't anything technical, but it does make for a good workout.
There is a short connector trail that takes you straight to
Preddy Creek Loop. It is steep but can be used to make a shorter version of the
Preddy Creek Loop or it can be handy for linking up a fun route.
