Description

This loop rides best clockwise and can be used with the Lamping Long Loop to add some extra miles. Using some gravel roads you can also connect to nearby sections of the North Country Trail/Pioneer Trail. The Knowlton Covered Bridge is nearby and worth a visit. It's a short ride or drive from the Lamping Homestead Recreation Area.

Along the trail on the Lamping Short Loop Trail just after a sharp switch back. If you look closely you can see the trail descending the valley to the right.
