Family Friendly An easy, paved trail with some hills, benches, and views.

Description

The Nimitz Way Trail traverses the upper section of Tilden Regional Park. It has a paved surface until you reach the San Pablo Ridge Trail. It is a popular walking area, so use caution when biking and always call out when passing.

There are some minor hills to descend/climb. It's a great little section of trail that will link you to many great cycling circuits in the area. Ride during the week if you want less foot traffic and a little more room to spin those pedals. Free parking, water, and bathrooms at Inspiration Point.
