Description

The Wave Pool Trail follows orange blazes on the southern tip of Boyce Park near the wave pool. The trail is narrow singletrack, and may be overgrown at times. The main entrance to the trail is right at the entry way at Old Frankstown Road and exits onto the sidewalk near the lower parking loop for the Wave Pool.

A good way to connect this trail is to follow the White Blaze Blue Dot trail from the log cabin to the Orange Blaze White Dot trail and cross Old Frankstown Road to the main trail entrance.

After you exit the Wave Pool Trail, then follow the road back towards Old Frankstown Road and look for a clearing on the left towards the skate park and there will be a small un-blazed connector trail Wave Pool Trail Connector, which will take you down to the corner of Cooper Road and Old Frankstown Road. Cross Old Frankstown and look for the trailhead to Orange Blaze Black Dot.

Not heavily traveled. Pretty well overgrown with lots of thorns.
