Trails in the West Avon Preserve are usually closed from November to April for deer/elk winter habitat (signs will be posted). Dogs must either be leashed or under voice control.

Description

The BLT Trail (formerly called the Lower Flow Trail, sometimes called Senderized), starts from a junction with the Avon Singletree Connector ASC high on the hillside. This silky smooth downhill trail is a fun combination of large and small berms, quite a few jump bumps, and a tabletop or two thrown in for good measure.

BLT is a good trail for practicing your skills- it is easy to take a mellower line at first and then gradually increase the difficulty without fear of getting in over your head. It ends all too soon at an unsigned junction with the Avon Singletree Connector ASC and Carroll's Cutoff.
